I don't think it's possible to re-create Marrakech, or other songs, in FL since Logic has some specific effects and a different engine which FL does not.

hahaha, how on earth do you think andre is gonna just give you his project files? )))))) lol and he doesn't even use FL studio. loooooool

@Raschey19: i'm sure you can't make an exact replica but FL is strong enough to make a pretty good copy if you try hard. i don't see the reason for laughing about that since FL Studio is a great DAW...

FL is indeed a good DAW and there are many tracks out there played by top DJ's that have been made using FL, but Logic has a few exclusive plugins which no other DAW has. Some instruments too. So, trying to make recreate a track which was made in Logic, on another DAW is going to be a hard job. Other than that, you'd need to know what instruments Andre used, oh, and he has alot of hardware synths in his studio.

yes guys thank you for your entrys
it is not so easy but/and
here is was i have to say about...

1.mac logig8 ist may the best soft in the studio
but windows machine are not much slower or what ever macs tell you

2. so andre is dj traveling all the time and
FLstudio8 and deckadance or the new softsynts from imageLine soft

is the best/flexiblest thing what he can use on the laptop computer
and better than reason, anyway!

3.you know it is that was FL8 have >from songs back to *.flp files
he can do that for sure and his team like to help him and than
we get in FL9 or earlyer - one or two ATB songs/vocals
all fans are happy and he is the best one more time?
in the studio as dj and on the laptop as inspiration , waht ever!

1. Mac OS X has a different way of getting input from AU (that's just like VST in Windows, just different). It receives input in such a way that it does not use CPU for no reason. The new VST3 from Steinberg seems to have implemented such a thing too but currently there are just a few, actually only the Cubase instruments, that use that technology. Amongst other things like less RAM consumption on Mac OS X than Windows. And I can go on and on...

2. There are also alot of DAW's on Windows, I'm sure there are atleast 3 different DAW users that would like to see Ecstasy or Marrakech or Hold you and so on from ATB in their own format. He wouldn't give anyone the Logic original file for the project, why would he spend time giving it in a different format ? I think he probably isn't allowed by contract either. So either way it wouldn't be legal.

3. I didn't get what you said on 3 so I won't comment upon that.

Topic solved (looked for something different than "closed" ).

hallo ,
let me say this
atb new album wow 26 tracks(very best and special)
i cant say my favorite song on this
but the album ist fantastic (sehr geil und absolut hoehrenswert)
auch drumnbass elemente dabei wow...!

vergleiche ich aber das mit zB oe3 hits (hasse das meiste was die senden!)
dann klingt das anders(will ATB nicht mal no1 hits haben?)
und ich denke das liegt bloss am mastering?

ps. track luminescense
also fuer den drum rythem lopp
wuerde ich andre ein busserl geben
wenn er mir das erklaert wie das geht...?

OFFTOPIC:
I think there's no real difference what DAW do you use, if you have the right generators/plugins and effects that fit on your needs. All that is required from the host is the possibility to import all plugins u wan't, to use your favourite sound driver and to automate everything you want... Just a personal upinion..

Fruity Loops.....hey that reminds me of some things, wasn't that this thing where all people made such cheap MIDI-songs with it which were nothing worth? - yes it was.

there are better programs like Sonar

I use Sonar, and I have to say that Fruity Loops is a great DAW even if I don't actually like it that much,

And actually it does care which DAW you use, some use different engines and export sounds differently, and some use different Sequencers. FL for example has nothing similar with Sonar, Reason is/was different too. And so on.

P.S. If some of you don't know how to actually use some DAW's, it doesn't actually mean they're not good. Everybody uses what's best for him, or what he likes more.
